Job Responsibilities: • To carry out ongoing monitoring the daily sales and to evaluate suspicious transactions report (STR) lodged by other units, establish watchlist, collate intelligence and grounds for suspicion for escalation to Head of Compliance. • To monitor and review CDD and EDD information and provide feedback and follow up on remedial measures. • To periodically review and update blacklist/PEPs/sanctions lists. • To provide training to new teller and branch compliance officer. • To prepare and provide ongoing staff training to frontliners and branch compliance officer, to enhance the knowledge of AMLCFT to the staff. • To assist the Head of Compliance to review the system flows and procedures to ensure that comply with BNM guidelines and provide feedback on room of improvement. • To provide feedback on the review and update internal rules, policies and guidelines to meet best practice and industry standards. • To provide feedback on development and enhancement of existing compliance systems and procedures to the Head of Compliance. • To assist other divisions in the Company and its related companies for the establishment, development and improvement of new and existing products, services, business and risk management. • Any other tasks, projects or ad-hoc duties that may be assigned from time to time by HOD or the Company’s management.
