Job Description

Job Responsibilities: • Oversee the assigned products accounting activities. • Oversee the Agent’s accounting activities (both Money Changing and Remittance). • Supervise other accounting team members to ensure all deadlines are met. • Identify discrepancies in ledgers and accounts, tracking them and correcting them. • Coordinate and manage payment and billing details of any external parties. • Coordinate bank statement reconciliation to ensure all margins and charges is calculated according to the agreement stated. (Foreign and local banks) • Collaborate with other departments for any ad hoc tasks or assignments given. • Provide solution to branches and agents for any ad hoc accounting issues. • Assist in company operating expenses checking and verification. • Assist Accounts Manager and other team members to successfully execute various accounting tasks. • Assist Accountant to manage communication with financial auditor and tax agent. • Coordinate monthly closing process to ensure all information is presented in accordance with relevant accounting standards and principles. • Assist in preparing various BNM reports. • Assist in preparing and analyzing financial reports. • Supervise and review all reports and statements done by bookkeepers, to ensure all daily reports are completed within deadlines. • Prepare and organize all remittance report to superiors. • Supervise and review all accounting entries posted by bookkeepers, to ensure the accuracy and deadlines are met. • Oversee the remittance’s accounting activities as relief officer. • Collaborate with other departments for any ad hoc tasks or assignments given. • Any other tasks, projects or ad-hoc duties that may be assigned by HOD and Management.
