Working Location: • Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam Job Description: Project Engineer (Solar Industry) We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer with at least 1 year of experience to join our team in the solar industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the design, implementation, and completion of solar photovoltaic (PV) projects in Malaysia, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: • Project Planning & Coordination - Assist in planning and scheduling solar PV project timelines. • Support in designing solar PV systems, including module layout, string configurations, and electrical schematics. • Conduct site surveys to assess project feasibility and gather necessary data. • Ensure designs comply with industry standards and local regulations. • Supervise installation teams to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards. • Monitor project progress and address any technical or operational issues. • Manage procurement and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. • Oversee system testing and commissioning to ensure proper functionality. • Prepare project documentation, including as-built drawings and technical reports. • Assist in client training and system handover. • Identify and resolve project-related challenges promptly. • Propose innovative solutions to improve system performance and efficiency. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. • Minimum 1 year of experience in solar PV design, installation, or project management. • Familiarity with grid-connected solar systems is preferred. • Proficient in AutoCAD and PVsyst (or equivalent solar design software). • Strong understanding of electrical systems, single-line diagrams, and circuit design. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholders. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking. • Passionate about renewable energy and sustainability.
