Working Location • Taman Melodies Responsibilities: • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes and café standards. • Handle food preparation tasks such as meal ingredients, preparing sauces, and seasonings. • Assist in developing new menu items. • Keep the kitchen clean and organized at all times. • Deep cleaning fridges and store rooms to maintain sanitary and kitchen safety standards. • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and waitstaff to ensure smooth operations. • Help train new kitchen staff and provide guidance on café procedures and standards. Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Culinary school training or relevant certification is preferred. • Proven experience as a cook in a café, restaurant or similar setting. • Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures. • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially during busy periods.
