Job Description

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing and processing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely collection of receivables. This role is crucial in supporting our financial health and ensuring smooth operations. Key Responsibilities 1. Invoice Management: • Generate and issue invoices to customers. • Ensure accuracy in all invoicing details. 2. Payment Processing: • Monitor and process various forms of incoming payments. • Reconcile payments with invoices and update customer accounts. 3. Accounts Reconciliation: • Regularly reconcile accounts receivable ledger. • Investigate and resolve discrepancies. 4. Customer Relations: • Address customer inquiries and resolve payment issues. • Send payment reminders and follow up on overdue accounts. 5. Collections Management: • Monitor overdue accounts and manage collections efforts. • Negotiate payment arrangements when necessary. 6. Reporting and Documentation: • Prepare detailed reports on accounts receivable status and collections. • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payments. 7. Compliance and Internal Controls: • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. • Assist with audits and maintain accurate records. Requirement: A diploma in a related field is required.
