Working Days & Time • Monday – Friday • 8:30am-6:00pm Working Location: • Setia Tropika, Kempas, Johor Bahru Job Summary: • To carry out ongoing monitoring the daily sales and to evaluate suspicious transactions report (STR) lodged by other units, establish watchlist, collate intelligence and grounds for suspicion for escalation to Head of Compliance. • To monitor and review CDD and EDD information and provide feedback and follow up on remedial measures. • To periodically review and update blacklist/PEPs/sanctions lists. • To provide training to new teller and branch compliance officer. • To prepare and provide ongoing staff training to frontliners and branch compliance officer, to enhance the knowledge of AMLCFT to the staff. • To assist the Head of Compliance to review the system flows and procedures to ensure that comply with BNM guidelines and provide feedback on room of improvement. • To provide feedback on the review and update internal rules, policies and guidelines to meet best practice and industry standards. • To provide feedback on development and enhancement of existing compliance systems and procedures to the Head of Compliance. • To assist other divisions in the Company and its related companies for the establishment, development and improvement of new and existing products, services, business and risk management. • Any other tasks, projects or duties that may be assigned from time to time by Head of Compliance, the Compliance Manager, team lead or the Company’s management. Job requirements: • Experience in remittance or currency exchange businesses is highly preferred. • Experience working with regulators like Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) is often required due to the regulatory oversight of MSBs. • Good analytical, communications and interpersonal skills • Female & Male • Minimum Degree holders • Can speaking, writing in English & Malay • Can work under pressure • Can do overtime job when needed • Positive attitude and able to work independently with minimum supervision Benefits • Health insurance • Opportunities for promotion • Parental leave • Professional development
