Job Description

1) Procurement & Sourcing: • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with vendors to secure the best deals. • Issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records. 2) Order & Stock Management: • Monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock is available for customer requirements. • Coordinate with the warehouse to track stock movements and availability. • Place purchase orders to replenish stock as needed based on demand and reorder levels. • Assist in demand forecasting and procurement planning. 3) Customer Enquiry & Order Coordination: • Check and respond to customer enquiries related to product availability, lead times, and order status. • Coordinate with the sales and operations teams to ensure timely order processing and delivery. 4) Goods Receiving & Supplier Coordination: • Receive and inspect incoming goods to ensure they match purchase orders in quantity and specifications. • Verify that all goods are received in good condition and free from damage or defects. • Coordinate with suppliers in case of discrepancies, incorrect deliveries, or defective items. • Arrange for replacement of goods or issuance of credit notes (CN) as needed. • Maintain proper documentation for received goods and any return or exchange transactions. 5) Reporting & Compliance: • Maintain procurement documentation in compliance with company policies. • Track and report procurement metrics such as cost savings, supplier performance, and order accuracy. • Prepare regular reports on procurement activity, stock status, and pending orders. Job Specifications: • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field. • 2–3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement. • Strong negotiation and communication skills. • Good command of spoken and written in English, Malay and Chinese. • Familiarity with inventory and procurement processes. • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. • Minimum salary RM2,500.00 (include allowances). • Preferable age 35 years old and below. • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Power Point.
