Working Hours: • Mondays to Fridays • 9am - 6pm Working Location: • Eco Palladium, JB About the Role We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. This role will provide valuable support in managing day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with strong numerical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities: • Processing invoices and expense reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. • Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions using accounting software [e.g. Auto Count]. • Assisting with bank reconciliations. • Preparing and processing payments to vendors and suppliers. • Assisting with accounts payable and receivable functions. • Data entry and maintenance of financial records. • Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures. • Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as needed. • Maintaining confidentiality of financial information. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent or related field preferred. • 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or administrative role (preferred, but not required). • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). • Strong understanding of accounting principles. • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
