Working Days & Time • Monday – Friday • 9am – 6.30pm Work Location • Pekan Nenas, Johor Bahru Requirements • Degree in accountancy or equivalent, Candidates who possess ACCA would have added advantage • More than 10 years accounting work experience with last 5 years in a managerial position or equivalent, and handled full sets of accounts • Good working knowledge of statutory requirement, financial reporting standards and up-to-date and sound financial practices • Able to meet tight deadlines • Mature, independent, and a self-starter who can produce results with minimum supervision • Meticulous, good numerical sense and comfortable with handling huge datasets • Strong organizational, analytical, negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills • Possess grit and growth mindset, and comfortable working in a fast-growing global company • A great team player and have experience working alongside Finance Shared Service team located in overseas • Bilingual • Experience with ERP software. Hands-on knowledge in Navision will be highly desirable. Benefits • Staff Leave • Staff Insurance Job Description • Timely and accurate monthly financial closing, prompt preparation and review of monthly/periodic management reports and balance sheet reconciliations • Timely and accurate month-end, quarterly and year-end financial closing • Perform journal approvals for payments and receipts • Authorize purchase orders based on approved limits and requirements • Responsible for the effective monitoring of operational cash flow and preparation of cash flow statements on a weekly basis • Prepare job costing reports as and when required • Conduct monthly cost analysis and variance reports • Assist in the preparation of forecasts and budget • Assist in compiling of annual report • Prepare presentations for monthly financial review meetings • Prepare financial statements and statutory reports, ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory compliance • Review inventories reconciliation, recording of journals and preparation of monthly schedules • Liaise with local and head-office internal and external auditors’ queries • Liaise with tax agent, corporate secretary, legal, banks, and government agencies • Ensure proper internal controls are in place and being complied • Responsible for monthly LMW submissions and yearly renewals • All administrative matters in the company
