Working Days & Time • Monday – Friday • 9am – 6.30pm Work Location • Pekan Nenas, Johor Bahru Requirements • Diploma/Certificate in Purchasing, Business Admin or Engineering • More than 2 years purchasing experience required • Those with experience in Sheet metal/metal fabrication is preferred • Prior purchasing experience in parts/metal components advantageous • Prior working experience with ERP systems (MS Dynamics/Navision) is advantageous • Multi-tasker, pro-active and able to work within deadlines • Independent and also a team player • Able to prioritize and work well under pressure • Meticulous and fast-worker • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to communicate with China suppliers or in any dialect is preferred • Immediate or short notice preferred Benefits • Staff Leave • Staff Insurance Job Description • Review purchase orders to ensure accuracy and conform with quote • Organize and coordinate procurement activities for supplier, material and equipment • Manage supplier delivery schedules and maintain delivery dates for proper inventory control • Coordinate with warehouse department for all incoming goods • Assist in resolving problems with purchases or services, discuss defective goods/services with users, vendors, or inspectors to determine the source of the problem and the appropriate corrective action. • Matching supplier invoice & delivery orders/service report against purchases orders • Prepare of monthly outstanding PO report for management review • Carrying out administrative tasks such as data input, processing information, completing paperwork and filing documents • Adhere to purchasing policies, processes, and procedures • Handle queries from customers and suppliers
