Job Description

Working Days & Time • Monday – Friday • 9am – 6pm Work Location • Kuala Lumpur Requirements • Diploma/Degree in Engineering or occupational health and safety, can be beneficial. • Minimum 2 years or above of work experience in Civil or Steel Structure will be advantage • Communication and problem-solving skills • Familiarity with relevant safety regulations, such as those outlined by the Occupational Safety • Latest industry standards and best practices to ensure the safety and efficiency of lifting operations. Responsibility • Develop and submit complete lift plans for all Heavy lifts to the HSE and other concerned departments before any lifting operation. • These plans consist of but not limited to the following: Site Drawings, Qualifications, Certifications, Lift Criteria, Lift plan documents, Crane lift worksheets, Crane Safety Checklists, Outrigger Blocking Selections and area compaction test date. • Supervise and coordinate all lifting and equipment / material movement activities. • Supervise health check, maintenance and certification records on all lifting equipment including cranes, cables, slings, chains, hooks, clevises, shackles, lift rings, chain hoists, cable hoists and pins. • Ensure all workers engaged in lifting operations adhere to all lifting policies and directives as per local and international applicable laws and Company Policies. • Ensure all rigging crew are qualified to operate and conduct rigging and are maintaining their qualifications records. • Ensure compliance with physical pre-inspection performed by all users of all lifting machinery and equipment • Ensures all personnel engaged in rigging operations wear their required P.P.E. • Identifies and coordinates crane/crew hiring, and scheduling based upon lift requirements. Accomplishes other assigned tasks as required by management
